Dr. Weiner graduated from The University of California Los Angeles in 1970 with a degree in Microbiology and graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1975. Following an internship at the University of Southern California Medical Center, Dr. Weiner completed his neurosurgical residency at New York University Medical Center in 1981 and joined the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston as a full-time neurosurgical faculty member the same year.
Dr. Weiner joined Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine in 1987. He continues an academic affiliation with UT Southwestern as clinical associate professor of neurosurgery and has authored numerous articles and papers in peer-reviewed journals and medical textbooks on a variety of clinical issues.
